My daughter was gifted a pamper package for her birthday a few months ago, we went in today and she is absolutely thrilled with the experience and LOVES her hair, makeup, and nails. She feels like a princess. We also got my sons first hair cut and they were great, he’s usually quite wriggly but the ladies were great at distracting him to keep him still. Would definitely return again.
My three-year-old absolutely hates haircuts. Screams the place down, and is so distressed. It’s horrible for everyone involved. I took him into Hair by Rebecca today to have a look around, and give him a bit of a feel for the place. Not in my wildest dreams did I think we would walk out with a perfect haircut!!! All without one tear, wore the cape, used the clippers, laughed and smiled!! I am literally speechless! We had the pleasure of having Gemma as our hairdresser, who very quickly earned my sons trust, and continued to read and respond to him so well through the whole haircut. Our aim was just to get him familiar with the process, and maybe just a little trim if we could, but it went so well, that he had a whole haircut - no fuss at all! Gemma was patient, calm, fun, and just absolutely beautiful. Nothing was rushed, there was no pressure, and I didn’t feel anxious the whole time like I have when taking him to the barber. I am so thankful we came past today, and so thankful for you Gemma. Thank you for taking the time with my son, and changing him from being completely petrified, to enjoy having his haircut - IN JUST ONE VISIT!! We will be customers for life! I can not recommend this service any higher. I am literally blown away. From a previously very stressed out when it comes to a haircut, Mumma.
My toddler has been getting his hair cut here for awhile now. He hated getting his hair cut, there were tears, he would have to sit on my lap. The ladies are so nice and understanding. We are 6 or 7 hair cuts in, no more tears, he even sit for his cut by himself now ????
This is the best place for fussy toddlers! Honestly, the staff are just beyond expectations with calming kids down and having a great haircut experience. 10/10 try them! And the cuts they do are phenomenal
I loved going to the Magic Castle to watch the close-up magicians when I lived in Los Angeles. I would sit, mouth agape, watching these masterful illusionists do the seemingly impossible. That’s how I felt a few days ago watching Melody accomplish the impossible: give our 3-year-old son a haircut. A GREAT haircut! We’ve tried three times on three different continents with three different salons. To be clear, we were visiting family, not traveling the world to get our son a haircut. We don’t have that kind of money. Ironically, I complained about the 30 minute drive from North Haven to Modbury. After Melody worked her magic, I said to my wife, “If we moved to Victor Harbor, I would make the drive.” And I meant it.
