I recently visited Pulse Salon for a hair balayage, and although I didn't initially achieve the desired color. When I first noticed that the color wasn't what I had envisioned, I contacted the salon and explained the situation. They were incredibly understanding and immediately scheduled me for a follow-up appointment to fix my hair. Upon arriving for my second visit, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Maya, the true star of the salon, took charge with confidence and skill. She thoroughly listened to my concerns and desires, ensuring she understood exactly what I wanted. Her knowledge and expertise were evident as she explained the steps she would take to achieve the perfect color. Throughout the process, Maya's gentle and patient approach made me feel at ease. She meticulously worked on my hair, paying attention to every detail. I was amazed by her ability to transform my hair into the beautiful balayage that I had originally envisioned. I have now had two appointments cancelled at short notice in the last month. I have made appointments with particular stylists only to be told when I have been seated that “unfortunately “ the stylist isn’t available and that I will have another person do my hair. Usually an inexperienced person. Today I was told that my stylist and/or any stylist would not be available and the salon would not be open. This was at 8am for a 930 am appointment. Fantastic since I’m going overseas on Wednesday!! This is totally unacceptable to me. I was a client for over twenty years. The staff are lovely but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the management. I’m sorry for the bad review but I am very angry and disappointed with the service over the last six months or so. Had my hair cut today for the first time at Pulse! Love how it turned up the layers looks so good! Service was so friendly and professional! Prices are really reasonable!
Had my hair long for over 2years just so I could put it up. It looked terrible, so on a whim I called the closest hairdresser ( didn't know them as I was on holiday from interstate) and god bless I got Jess. She listened, looked at the picture I had brought, was happy it would suit me. The rest is one VERY happy customers. Getting a retrim is going to be a problem though, lol. Highly recommended.
